Window Cleaning Frequency

We are all aware that we need to clean our home on a regular basis. This involves wiping down kitchen counters, dusting the furniture and mopping the floors. But, what about those windows? Have you ever thought about how often they should be cleaned and how they should be cleaned? Well, below we explore indoor window cleaning and how often you should have your windows cleaned.

Look at your windows right now

You probably use a window cleaning service for the outside of your windows, but how clean are they inside? Take a look right now. You’ll probably be surprised at the number of smears, grease marks and fingerprints that are on them. You’ll also probably find a fine layer of dust. This is why the interior of your windows should be cleaned in the same way as the outside of your windows.

Clean them every three months

Ideally, the interior of your windows should be cleaned every three months or so, especially in rooms such as the kitchen and bathroom. Doing so will cut down on any dirt and build-up of grease while enabling you to see clearly through them while allowing light to flood into your home.

DIY or the professional?

So, now that you know how often your windows should be cleaned, who should clean them? You could clean them yourself using dish soap followed by white wine vinegar, but the results won’t be as good as using a professional service. This is because they have the correct tools for the job and the correct cleaners. Cleaning windows also takes elbow grease and time, which you may not have.

Here at Oven Bliss, we provide a professional indoor window cleaning service, which means that you don’t have to do this task yourself. To learn more then please do get in touch with us today.
